What works on the static copy
Updated
The copy shows every visitor the same pages, so anything that's the same for everyone works, and anything personal doesn't. This page is about WordPress®; for other websites, see Sites that aren't WordPress.
Works
- Any theme and page builder: block editor, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks and others.
- Pages, posts, categories, tags, author pages and archives, with the same addresses.
- Images (every size), fonts, styles and scripts.
- Sitemaps, RSS feeds,
robots.txtand your theme's 404 page. - Things that run in the visitor's browser: sliders, galleries, video, maps, analytics, chat widgets, cookie banners and booking widgets.
- SEO plugin output: titles, descriptions, social tags and structured data.
Needs a setting
- Contact forms: choose a form mode and test on the preview.
- Scheduled posts: published when WordPress publishes them, if the connector plugin is installed.
