Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Webster Solutions, LLC, an Alabama limited liability company that provides the WranglePress service ("WranglePress", "we"). We've written them in plain language. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.

1. The service

WranglePress makes static copies of websites you tell it about (WordPress® sites and other websites), stores them, serves them on the domains you connect, and relays form submissions. We may improve and change the service. If we remove something important you rely on, we'll give you reasonable notice.

2. Who can use it

WranglePress is for businesses and for people acting for a business, a nonprofit or their own site. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Your account

Keep your login details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what people you invite do.

AI assistants and API keys. If you connect an AI assistant or create an API key, anything done through that connection or key is done by you, with your role in your team. Review what an assistant proposes before you let it publish, take a site offline or remove one. You can disconnect assistants and revoke keys at any time in the dashboard.

4. Plans, trials and billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the prices on our pricing page. Prices don't include taxes, which may be added.
  • The free trial lasts 14 days. When it ends you need a paid plan to add sites or run builds.
  • You can cancel at any time in the dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If a payment fails, we'll tell you and may pause builds until it's fixed.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The change applies from your next billing period after that.

5. Refunds

  • Fees already paid aren't refunded, including for partly used months, except as set out here or where the law requires.
  • If you're charged twice for the same team (for example, two subscriptions at once), we cancel the extra one and refund it.
  • If we end the service for a reason other than your breach of these terms, we refund any fees you paid for the time after it ends.
  • If you think a charge is wrong, email us within 60 days of it.

6. Your sites and content

  • You must own the sites and domains you connect, or have permission from the owner.
  • Your content stays yours. You give us permission to copy, store, change the format of (for example, rewriting links), and serve it, only to run the service for you.
  • You are responsible for your website and the systems it runs on (for WordPress: its updates, plugins and themes) and for what it publishes. WranglePress serves a copy of what your site shows; it doesn't check or fix the content.
  • Follow our acceptable use policy.

7. Agencies and their clients

If you connect sites for clients, you are responsible for having their permission. We treat those sites as yours: we won't contact your clients about them or offer them our services.

8. Personal data we process for you

When we handle personal data for you, we act as your processor. The main example is the form submissions your sites' visitors send. We process it only to run the service as you instruct, keep it confidential and protect it with the measures in our privacy policy, and use only the service providers listed there. We tell you without undue delay if a breach affects it, and delete it as described there. If you need a data processing agreement (for example, under the GDPR), email us and we'll provide ours. You are responsible for telling your visitors how their data is used, and for having a lawful basis to collect it.

9. What we don't promise

We work hard to keep the service running and to describe it honestly, but we provide it "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, that it will prevent every attack, or that it will detect any particular problem. A static copy reduces what is exposed to the public; it does not stop every possible attack on a website or server. You should keep your own backups of your site.

10. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

11. Your responsibility for claims

If someone makes a claim against us because of content on a site you connected, because you didn't have the right to connect a site or domain, or because you broke these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees. We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you take part in handling it.

12. Ending the service

You can stop at any time by cancelling your plan and removing your sites. Removed sites are kept for 30 days so they can be restored, then deleted. To close your account, email us. We may suspend or end your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you don't pay, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we'll warn you first and give you time to point your domains back at your own host. After an account ends, we delete its sites and their data within 30 days, except billing records we must keep by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we'll email you at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

14. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them or the service goes to the state courts of Shelby County, Alabama, and both sides agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Before going to court, we'll each try for 30 days to settle it by email in good faith. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away protections of the law where you live.

15. General

  • These terms, with the privacy policy and acceptable use policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
  • If a part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • Not enforcing a part straight away doesn't mean we give it up.
  • Neither side is responsible for delays caused by things outside its reasonable control.
  • You can't transfer these terms to someone else without our agreement. We may transfer them to a business that takes over the service, and we'll tell you if we do.
  • We send notices to your account's email address; send yours to the address below.
