    Freeze the site as it is, then cancel the hosting for WordPress. There's nothing left to update or patch, and the site stays online exactly as it looks today. Best for sites that rarely change, or that nobody looks after anymore.

You can start with one and switch later. Retired a site and need to change it? Bring WordPress back from a backup and the copy updates again.
